The Humphries' go to the Jays Game

We took in our first family Blue Jays game at the Rogers Centre.  The Jays won 7-2 against the Pittsburgh Pirates.  

The kids got to go down to field level after the game and run the bases.  It was a big highlight!  It was the only part of the afternoon that I didn't have to explain what was happening after the crowd cheered.  How do you explain to a six-year old why all the fans at the stadium do the wave?  My response of "just for fun" and "it's entertaining" didn't cut it.  Please send me your explanations!

We're looking forward to going down to more games next year, and maybe taking in a Raptors or Leafs game this Fall.
