A NEW NURSING GRADUATE IN CAMBODIA

I was introduced to Srey Nech (aka Courtney) in November 2014 through investor friends. She was seeking a sponsor to put her through medical school.

When I asked how much it would be to put her through Phnom Penh University, the answer simply stunned me. The tuition with living costs would be approximately U$3,000 per year for three years.

Kanitha graduated last year from Midwifery. Courtney just passed her national nursing final exam.

Both of these women are now role models for young girls in their village.

Vuthy Nurn is the founder of the Youth Development Center in Kampot. 

Youth With A Mission or YWAM was the sponsoring Canadian agency.
