FAT: BURN IT OR STORE IT

My trainer, George Basargin, with FitBodyByGeorge explained why I gained 20 lbs in the past few weeks when I told him that I had started drinking again due to stress.

Alcohol is not just a carbohydrate (pure sugar). Alcohol impairs the liver's ability to process fat.

The body secretes insulin to control and regulate sugar.

Insulin is a fat-storing hormone.

The body does one of two things with fat: burns it or stores it.

So even if you are eating healthy, it doesn't matter when you consume alcohol because your body's ability to process fats and carbohydrates is impaired for a minimum of 72 hours.

The key is to train your body to burn fat, and this is George's area of expertise.

George exposes the myths and misconceptions around weight loss in his book "Why Are We Getting Fat? The Hidden Truth About Weight Loss"
