Overall housing supply continued to grow in July as sales dropped to their lowest point this year since January.

Here is the summary of the market for July.

Total Sales Processed  - 1,290

Total New Listings - 2,921

For the Fraser Valley region, the average number of days to sell an:

Apartment (Condos) - 21 Days

Townhomes - 24 Days

Single Family Detached - 31 Days

Of the total transactions Fraser Valley Real Estate Board processed:

346 were Townhouses

337 were Apartments (Condos)

607 were Single Family Detached

Total Active Inventory last month - 7,399 listings

New listings received in July - 2,921

HPI Benchmark Price Activity

Apartments/Condos 

Benchmark Price - $450,400

Price decreased 0.7% compared to June 2018

Price increased 32% compared to July 2017

Townhomes

Benchmark Price - $557,500

Price increased 0.1% compared to June4 2018

Price increased  14.7% compared to July 2017

Single Family Detached

Benchmark Price - $1,017,400

Price decreased  0.1% compared to June 2018

Price increased 5.3 % compared to July 2017
