Despite November’s market continuing at a slower pace and dropping compared to all-time highs in 2017, sales and inventory levels for the month were on par with historical averages for this time of year.

Here is the summary of the market for October

Total Sales Processed  - 1,028

Total New Listings - 2,077

For the Fraser Valley region, the average number of days to sell an:

Apartment (Condos) - 31 Days

Townhomes - 31 Days

Single Family Detached - 39 Days

Of the total transactions Fraser Valley Real Estate Board processed:

241 were Townhouses

286 were Apartments (Condos)

383 were Single Family Detached

Total Active Inventory last month - 7,355 listings

New listings received in November - 2,077

HPI Benchmark Price Activity

Apartments/Condos 

Benchmark Price - $422,500

Price decreased 2.4% compared to October 2018

Price increased 12.2 % compared to November 2017

Townhomes

Benchmark Price - $532,800

Price decreased 1.0% compared to October 2018

Price increased  5.4% compared to November 2017

Single Family Detached

Benchmark Price - $976,200

Price decreased  1.1 % compared to October 2018

No change in price compared to November 2017
