HOME MADE HAND SANITIZER
It only takes 3 ingredients to make your own hand sanitizer:
1: rubbing alcohol (aka isopropyl alcohol)
2: aloe vera gel
3: essential oil (tea tree, lavender) or lemon juice (optional)
The key is to use a 2-to-1 ratio of alcohol to gel.
Here's a recipe:
2/3 cup rubbing alcohol
1/3 cup aloe vera gel
10-drops essential oil or lemon juice
Mix with a spoon, then beat with a whisk until turns into a gel consistency.
There are wholesale suppliers of these ingredients such as Voyageur Soap & Candle in Langley.
Practicing safe hygiene is always a good habit.
