When I was in Calgary last month, I went to a downtown office tower to meet people. 

The downtown core was quiet. When I was on the 10th floor, looking out through a window, I saw an office building that is being repurposed into a multi-family, right across the street. 

This was actually my first time seeing an asset being turned into a different type, and earning a fresh start. 

That inspired me to look deeper into this niche.
