The first-time homebuyer incentive is discontinued, says the federal housing agency. As many of you know, I have been VERY critical of this program since it was introduced by the Federal Government. It was a poorly thought-out program that was incredibly difficult to qualify for and meet the required guidelines. So, I'm not surprised that it is being discontinued.
