MARIE KONDO METHOD
My 89-year old mother is a classic hoarder because she grew up during the war and experienced deprivations that most North Americans cannot truly understand.
This means it is very difficult for her to let things go and I end up throwing things out when she's not around (not the ideal scenario).
We recently hired a Personal Assistant for her and Lynda has been tasked to help organize my mother's room starting with watching the Marie Kondo videos to prepare the way.
The KonMari Method is not so much about tidying as it is about discarding items that lack value.
We are starting with the basic folding method before launching into a full scale de-cluttering.
