On top of the world!

Many of you know I like to get out on a hike as often as I can, even if it's solo. 

This Sunday morning I was fortunate to have a buddy and we did the 4.4km ascend up and oh my, this one was not an easy one. There was no relief, just always going up! But the views were WELL worth it.

The hike is called Elk Mountain. You can push along another 3km, across the top, to Thurston. We made it half way and turned around due to time.
