FED UP WITH GOOGLE AI? TRY KAGI.
I was forced to drop Google as a search engine months ago when it started bombarding me with useless ads.
Ever since, I've been looking at alternative search engines like Bing, DuckDuckGo, Edge, Firefox, Opera, Safari.
I encountered a new subscription-based ad-free search engine called KAGI.
Here is an in-depth review by Ars Technica.
Searches here are ad-free because Kagi makes money through paid subscriptions.
It doesn't track or sell your data and a host of other features.
Kagi offers a free trial period of 100 searches before offering their starter package at $5 per month for 300 searches up to their unlimited plan at $25 per month.
Google remains the universal browser (for now), but I prefer tailored results and privacy controls.
