LOUGHEED LANDMARK UPDATE
We announced our milestone event at the February 28th investor update meeting: after four Planners and 19 revisions, the successful submission of a 25-storey purpose-built rental building in Coquitlam.
The City Planner would not allow the restaurant level even though their bylaws do not prohibit it - which is a shame since Joey Coquitlam was interested in relocating here.
Although the City did their best to cut the daycare from 86 to 25 children, we were able to negotiate space for 74 children.
It has yet to go through final approval, and we are hoping that the extra level of office space will be reinstated - this would benefit the City as it will generate far more tax revenue than residential units.
Subscriptions remain open for Class C Units for a few more months to accredited investors only.
