EARTHING OR GROUNDING

 

I've heard of grounding techniques like walking on grass in your bare feet and was intrigued by the concept of a grounding bed sheet.

The earth carries a negative electrical charge that allow electrons to transfer to the body that neutralizes positive charged free radicals.

This is supposed to reduce inflammation, lower stress, improve sleep, and even reduce pain.

Grounding is still under research, so there isn't a lot of peer reviewed studies yet.

But I decided to try one to see if I noticed any improvements.

Although my sleep cycle did improve from 2-3 hours before waking to 5 hours per night in the first week, my curiosity is whether this is a temporary effect or not, to rule out any placebo effect.
