Lila Versus The Zucchini - 2026 Edition

Every year we have Lila pose in front of a large zucchini, both for reference and our amusement. This year the prize zucchini is smaller than any previous year. Furthermore, this is one of only 3 zucchinis that grew all season.

It has been an unusual year in the garden. Temperatures fluctuated more than usual, the tomatoes are late, and the squash harvest has been pathetic.

Sadly, not a single neighbour was accosted with zucchini gifts or had zucchini lovingly, (and anonymously), left in their cars for them. Sorry neighbours, hopefully we'll have better luck next year.
