Samson Turned 14 Years Young!

Our precious little man celebrated his 14th birthday last week with a juicy steak and a baked potato.

We decided that 14 was pretty momentous and he deserves a steak for his birthday from now on.  In fact, we might need to celebrate the anniversary of his arrival in our home in December with another steak.

It's hard to believe that it's been nearly 14 years since this tiny, adorable, fluffy puppy showed up and totally rearranged our lives, sleep schedules and priorities.

Samson has been with us through all of our adventures, including living in Mexico, and is showing no sign of slowing down.  He's still as spry as ever, though his hearing is going a little bit... which might be a blessing during Halloween, i.e. the season of fireworks.

Happy Birthday, Samson! We love you soooo much!
