This is a picture from the Surrey Real Estate Investors Club. It's part one in a series of reviews of each of the local clubs around town. (That's me clapping along with everyone at the back).
I like networking and this is a social business, so going out 3-4 times a month to meet with fellow investors is pretty cool. The Surrey Club has about 20-30 active members each month. The presentations range from introductory talks to specific investing models like Student Rentals and Rent to Own strategies.
I spoke there a few months ago so the quality of speakers is very good. :-) You can find out more details on attending on meetup.com. It's run by Sua Truong who's a very knowledgeable mortgage broker.
