I've heard a few people not want to leave their bank because they have been there for over 30 years. They believe the bank will value you as an excellent long term client and will bend over backwards to make you happy. If you go to any other bank, this is the equivalent to cheating. This is a mistake. A very expensive mistake where in people believe that the banks work for your best interests. They don't. Look at your renewal statements. Renewal statements are always higher than the best rates.
