How Fast Time Flies

Recently, my great uncle sent me a photo of me with my cousin right before I immigrated to Canada with my parents in the spring of 1997, right after Chinese New Years. 

I honestly have no recollection of this but it's pretty neat to think how far we've come and how much things have changed. It also seems that my (male) cousin and I are wearing the same sweater... that might explain why, along with my bowl cut hairstyle, I had so many people thinking I was a boy in my first few years coming to Canada, with all the boyish clothing my mom dressed me in (which were probably my cousin's hand-me-downs). 

March 17th this year will mark our 19th year anniversary since arriving to Canada and it's been a wonderful ride. I can only imagine what life would look like 19 years from now!
