Did housing market go up with 10%, 20% 30%????

 

To tell you the truth this market is a bit challenging to analyze.  I've seen Mission homes sell $100k over asking, Langley townhouses sell $75k over, downtown Vancouver condos sell at full price... it's been a roller coaster ride. In my opinion, I don't see the so called "bubble" bursting any time soon.

Now what?

If you're buying, we need to sit down and come up with a game plan.  You need to be prepared to pay over asking price and still lose in multiple offers numerous times.  Of course there are many ways to stay on top of the new listings as well as come up with an attractive offer but as a buyer's agent, I only allow my clients to lose in a multiple situation if the price is no longer justifyable.
