Birthday Time!

Winter is finally done, or so most of us would like to believe.  And with March comes the time to celebrate my wife's birthday.  

A great dinner at Cosmos in White Rock with the Grand Girls and family, a luscious St. Honore Cake from Veneto's Cakes & Pastries in Surrey, some flowers and a warm fireplace made for a fun night.  Some birthday cards (to be read out loud of course), some wine to toast the occassion, and on to the next year.

Birthdays have found a way into our time pocket, stealing our days ever faster than in our youth.  Never been able to figure that one out.  We are busy doing things (no layabouts here) but yet the days are a blur.  On this birthday though, we made the day stand still.
