The Holidays

It was a great holiday season this year, albiet quite hectic with the move. I cooked on Christmas day as I normally do, and it was a wonderful couple days with family.

My dog, Kimchi, always tries to weasle his way in to grab some food scraps, and he's found that if he perches himself up on the couch, he can see the dinner table very clearly. Of course, my Dad would sneak food to him when I'm not looking, which I would then promptly yell at him for, but it's hard not to when he looks at you with those big puppy dog eyes.

I hope you all had a wonderful and safe holiday with your loved ones, and here's to all the good things 2016 has in store!

5 Things You Shouldn't Do In A Bear Market

We all know that the markets aren't exactly smooth and steady sailing right now, but that's not a reason to panic. I always tell my clients to stay calm and ride things out. A typical cycle of the markets is 7 years, so the drops we've seen in the market aren't anything unusual.

We've all heard the saying 'buy low, sell high', but too often do I see people do the opposite, and that is panicking when markets are falling and buying again when they go out. That is absolutely not what a smart investor would do, and below are 5 basic things to keep in mind during these volatile times:

5 things you shouldn't do in a bear market
