Noma saw the Corona Virus vanish
My daughter Noma is adamant that she saw the Corona Virus step out of a truck outside on the street. Then something really interesting happened. She saw him start to shrink immediately until he eventually disappeared. She is absolutely sure it wasn't a dream. After trying to make sense of this, I've decided that since grown ups tell kids fables about Santa Claus, then I guess it's not entirely out of line for kids to flip the script and give their parents good news to look forward to. This one lifted my spirits for sure, and has kept me in good behavior.
CRA's Unclaimed Cheques
In the plethora "free" govt cheques and other benefits available to Canadians to help ease the economic impact of Covid-19, it's easy to forget that you may also have uncashed CRA cheques from years past.

75% Wage Subsidy + $40K Loans to Business Owners
Small businesses will now be able to receive up to 75 per cent in federal government funds in order to keep paying their employees during the COVID-19 pandemic – up from the previously announced 10 per cent subsidy plan.
Also, under the new Canada Emergency Business Account, storefront businesses will also qualify for up to $40,000 in loans which will be interest-free for one year, with up to $10,000 forgiven, Trudeau said. Business owners will have until June to pay GST and HST payments while taxes on imports will also be suspended. (Link about Wage Subsidy)
