Coolest Video of Georgia and Granville Streets, 1930s Vancouver

1930s Vancouver Georgia and Granville St

This has one of the coolest videos I have seen. It's a digital rendering of Georgia and Granville in the 1930s. It's so cool to see the incredible buildings that still stand and what did stand.

CRA Taxes due Sept 30

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) tax deadline is fast approaching. They extended this deadline many times to assist Canadians during the COVID pandemic.

The new deadline applies to individual, corporate, and trust income tax returns. Late-filing fees are also waived until September 30. CRA is encouraging everyone to file as soon as possible to avoid interruptions to any benefits received by the government.

Last weekend of Summer

We spent Labor Day weekend seeing my nephew and niece. I haven't seen them since Christmas so it was so nice to spend time with them. It's amazing how much they grew in the last 9-months. They have become these super sweet little people and we had the best weekend with them.

Mortgage Payment Deferral is About To End

If you were one of the Canadians that utilized the 6-months payment deferral, the 6-month mark is closing in. This means, please expect to make your regularly scheduled payment.

If you are not sure when your mortgage payment is supposed to be withdrawn, I recommend you call your lender to confirm the exact date to ensure you have funds available.

If you are unable to make your payment, I recommend you phone your lender asap to open a conversation with them to see what arrangements you can make.

Rates are SO low, What Now?

Rates are the lowest I have ever seen.

If you are up for Renewal, do not sign on the dotted line until you run the offer by me? There are so many lenders who would love to have your mortgage and switching over to a new lender is FREE.

If your current rate seems high, contact your lender to see what the penalty to break your mortgage would be. We can run the numbers together to see if refinancing your mortgage is the best move. I have a few strategies we can implement.

If you are considering making a purchase of a rental property, secondary home, or new primary residence. Please contact me for a pre-approval and I can get you a 120day rate hold!
